Academic Interventions: These interventions are customized to assist students struggling in certain subjects. When young students start struggling and cannot keep up with the rest of the class they start acting out to avoid the work. This interventions give them the extra time they need enhance their learning. 

  • Social Skills Training: This intervention focuses on teaching key social skills such as communication, empathy, and ways to resolve conflict. By using social interventions like role-playing, teachers can help students learn better ways to interact with others and decrease potential behavior problems.

 

  • Check-In/Check-Out (CICO): In this approach, students meet with a staff member at the start and end of each day to set goals, receive positive feedback, and discuss any issues. CICO fosters accountability and offers students a reliable support system.
