• These interventions are highly specialized and tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. This begins with a collaborative meeting with both Tier 2 and Tier 3 teams, which involves a few teachers, administrators, and mental health professionals. During that meeting, they will use the “Tiered Data Review Routine Worksheet” to cover information and questions for identifying students in Tier 2 that need to be moved to Tier 3.

  • Tier 3 interventions include creating a personalized plan for the student that incorporates a functional behavior assessment (FBA) to identify the causes of the student’s challenging behaviors while also developing effective strategies to address them. This level of support is characterized by a deeper analysis of the student's behavior, employing data-driven decision-making to ensure that interventions are both effective and sustainable.
